Peloton's Android exercise bike with a 21.5-inch screen raising money at Kickstarter

We’ve seen a number of different Android devices, including phones, tablets, cameras, TVs and set-top boxes. Like that’s not enough, now we have an exercise bike relying on Google’s mobile platform raising cash and awareness at Kickstarter.
The Peloton Bike has top notch specs, including:
  • Frame: Carbon steel and aluminum monocoque construction
  • Resistance: Neodymium rare earth magnet resistance system
  • Drive: Poly V power transmission belt drive
  • Pedals: LOOK Delta compatible thermoplastic pedals
  • Seat: Sport series saddle with depressed ergonomic center channel
  • Crank arms: 170mm carbon steel
  • Bottom bracket: Precision steel 13/68mm
As for the brains part, there’s a 21.5-inch full HD touchscreen running Android 4.1. Inside that big-ass display, you have TI’s OMAP 4470 dual-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz, 1GB of RAM, wired (Ethernet) and wireless (Wi-Fi + Bluetooth) connectivity, stereo speakers, 1.3-megapixel camera, and all the software an exercise fan could need (with the ability to install even more apps).
