Snapchat receives new UI, SnapKidz in latest update

snapchat_updatePopular image messaging service Snapchat has received a big update today to try and catch up with the iOS version, which was updated last month. Along with version 3.0.1 comes a brand new user interface that makes the app a little less clunky and a little more streamlined.
The camera refresh is very transparent, allowing you to see more of what you’re trying to capture. You can now swipe to the left to view friends, swipe to the right to view your latest snaps, and double tap a received snap to reply to the sender. In addition, the camera is faster, and users can now easily search for friends.
SnapKidz is also introduced in this update. SnapKidz is a version of Snapchat that allows adolescents to draw on photos and save snaps to the device, but not send or receive snaps. SnapKidz is automatically enabled if the app detects that the user is under 13 years old.
You can download the latest version of Snapchat from the Play Store  link after the break.
